House of Hoye

Shoreham beach resident & maker of bespoke items of jewellery. Jeremy Hoye refuses to follow trends, saying he designs jewellery for the non-conformists – those who know what they like. His signature style simply cannot be found elsewhere.

A collaboration with BMG Records saw his jewellery worn by chart topping stars such as Avril Lavigne, Sister Bliss, Faithless, Dido and Natasha Bedingfield. Latest celebrity clients include Holly Willoughby, Fearne Cotton, Edith Bowman, Katie Melua, Robert Downey Jr. and Gary Numan.

Jeremy has also worked with many high street and corporate names including Diesel, Virgin Airlines, Jaeger, Daewoo, Porsche, O2, Grand Marnier, Vauxhall, Heritage Research and renowned couture designer Jenny Packham.

Sabina Townshend

Sabina studied in America. Whilst there she ran around with her camera and a sketchbook, photographing and drawing. The high rise buildings, traffic, mayhem and energy of the large cities that she visited on the east coast really inspired her. When back to the UK she continued to work from the material she’d collected. She started collaging, cutting up her photographs and then drawing on top, creating new spaces, but always with a twist and a sense of humour. She likes to make herself laugh.

It’s important to Sabina that her compositions make sense visually and look like places that actually exist... but of course they don't.

Rerun Clothing

A community interest company aimed at prolonging the life of running clothes and keeping them out of landfill.

Every year it is estimated that 300,000 tonnes of used clothing goes to landfill in the UK. (For perspective the Titanic weighed 46,328 tonnes!) Extending the life of clothes by just nine months of active use would reduce carbon, water and waste footprints by around 20-30% each.

ReRun want to spread the word of second hand clothes and hand me downs and they need your help! All their clothing is printed with the ReRun logo with the intention of creating dialogue about sustainability.

An edited range of urban eclectic cool pre-loved, customised and up-cycled clothing.

Fundamentally to promote reuse within the fashion, garment production industry and to stand against the insatiable pressure on us to want to buy brand new, thus fuelling the industry to produce too much stuff. L’arage want to encourage the circulation of existing beautiful stuff so that we can refresh our look without the environment paying the price. They wanted a garage sale but didn’t have a garage so they held it in their lounge, hence L’arage.

Chloe Parkes

My name is Chloe Parkes and i’m a 24 year old sign-writer and artist. I have a degree in photography, but after graduating university I discovered the art of signwriting and found myself hooked on painting and gilding colourful, fun, and occasionally rude signs.

I am a mostly self taught sign-writer and attended a course in hand-lettering taught by the famous sign-writer Mike Meyer in 2017. I use traditional signwriting and gilding techniques when making my signs, and aim to keep them bold, bright and modern in design.

As well as shiny wall art, I also love to make gilded gold leaf house numbers on door transoms, and commercial signs for shops, market stalls and other small businesses.
